What is the difference between premises liability and general liability?
The key differences with premises liability is that the liability is tied to ownership or control of premises, for example the owner or manager of a grocery store who negligently allows liquid to stay on the floor, and you slip on that liquid, that would be a premises liability example.
General liability would be also an injury, but not necessarily tied to the negligent person's ownership or control of the premises where the injury occurred.
